We were referred to George by a friend who is a design consultant at a large tile company. She strongly suggested that we meet with George before proceeding with our renovation. Even though we had already shortlisted a couple of contractors, we checked out Unipro Renovations’ website and found that it matched the aesthetics that we wanted. We met with George and found him to be extremely knowledgeable, straight-forward and professional. We hired George to renovate the entire first floor of our 30 year old house which included a full re-configuation of the kitchen, new lighting plans and flooring for the family room, living room, powder room, laundry room, hallway and painting throughout the first floor. He is meticulous, caring, insightful and positive. He proactively offered or implemented solutions to things that arose at the job site. As George is such a good listener and problem-solver, we did not need to micro-manage the work. He co-ordinated the crew, tradesmen and permitting requirements seamlessly and the project was completed in an efficient and timely manner.

It took us six months to find the right person( George) who could not only deliver quality renovations at a reasonable cost but equally important, was totally trustworthy & honest. We were very lucky to have had UniPro Renovations do a complete renovation of our condo in December 2013 – January 2014. Over the period of only six weeks, we witnessed Djordje and his team transform the plain, somewhat stuck-in-time two-bedroom condo into a lively, cozy, and inviting three-bedroom space.
The team was very professional, following our guidelines, but at the same time offering advice, which was well thought-out and based on experience. For example, in consultation with us, the team put up another wall, closing up a space and creating an additional bedroom with a closet. But, it was Djordje’s idea to open up the kitchen more by tearing down part of a wall and raising part of the ceiling to allow more light into the living area. The room lit up, and the place was transformed to the degree that was it was hardly recognizable and a lot more functional. In addition, both bathrooms and other rooms were completely redone to increase functionality, with everything from floor to ceiling redesigned and reinstalled.
What impressed us the most was the team’s dedication to meeting the set deadlines, as well as their attention to detail. The work was completed on schedule, and it was meticulously executed. All along, Djordje was genuinely concerned about our satisfaction and made sure all our demands were met. He treated the work as if it were done in his own home, whether it was by advising about the best retailers, helping out with getting the best deal while shopping, or negotiating with the kitchen cabinet maker about the perfect shade that would satisfy us. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted, or even more than that, with Djordje’s expertise and dedication surpassing our expectations. We feel like we truly got a home that we feel happy and comfortable in.

“ We were first introduced to Unipro by our real estate agent and friend. We had a very short period of time to complete some refinishing work as a contingency for the sale of our current home, and at the same time complete the finishing (trim) work at our new place. We called George and he made arrangements to stop by both sites that day to get a full understanding of the scope and provide us with a quote. He provided a comprehensive quote for the required work, at a very reasonable price, and a completion timeframe that met our rush/immediate needs. The job was finished as promised, to a VERY high standard, on time, and at the price quoted – well done! The purchasing agent for our place beamed at the finished product during the closing inspection – he said, “it looks brand new, you cannot even tell they (in ceiling speakers) were there” and was obviously as pleased with George’s work as we were. In my experience completion contingencies form the downfall or delay of many real estate transactions, and George’s work literally “closed the deal” in this case. The finishing trim work at our new place was just as impressive – we hired George to complete the finishing trim, a job that was challenging and the original installer failed, due to the varying finishing heights of the floor. His workmanship seamlessly integrated the trim throughout the house. Again, the job was completed to the highest of finishing standards, on-time, on-budget, and we were able to move into a wonderfully finished space as planned.
